Americans from coast to coast are facing extreme weather conditions this week. Right now, a powerful fall northeast is hitting the northeast and New England, bringing high winds and heavy rain with it. In the Midwest, people are cleaning up after tornadoes ravage cities. Parts of Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas could also experience extreme weather conditions. The West Coast… is galloping too… with snow in one part of California… and torrential rains in others.

The average price of new cars is now over $ 45,000… an all-time high. That’s according to a new report from Kelley Blue Book and data from TrueCar. A TrueCar analyst said that in September, the average transaction price rose more than 7% from last year. Inventories of new cars at dealerships are also said to be slim at this time. The analyst adds that even a modest increase in the availability of new cars … can lead to some price relief.

A New York woman is suing Kellogg for the fruit filling in her pop-tarts. A lawsuit claims that the advertising on the boxes of their strawberry pop-tarts is misleading… because the filling uses fewer strawberries than expected. She claims the pastry contains more pears and apples than strawberries. She is asking for more than five million dollars in damages.
